Basal Cell Skin Cancer

Find information on the most common cancer, basal cell carcinoma. Basal cell cancer is also the most common form of skin cancer. Usually found in 10-20% of all whites. Basal cell cancer is locally invasive, and almost never metastases are found. It can however, be very disfiguring if treatment is not initiated early. Basal cell cancers are usually found on sun exposed skin of elderly, such as the nose, face, and ears. Basal cells are usually pearly, red papules that are often ulcerated
