Squamous Cell Skin Cancer has precursor lesions termed Bowen's Disease, and can arise from Solar (Actinic) Keratosis. Risk factors for developing squamous cell cancer are many and include factors that damage skin integrity, such as ulcers, burns, scars, radiation, and transplant patients on immunosuppressive drugs.
