EPIDERMAL NEVUS

Epidermal nevi are found at birth, and can present anywhere on the body. They appear pink and papillomatous, and are usually fairly large plaques. Treatment is for cosmesis, and requires liquid nitrogen, electrodessication, or CO2 laser. There is much difficult in their treatment, and repeat treatments are usually required.
