A self-limiting skin disorder, that begins as a large lesion, which many other lesions apearing later.

    Appearance and Cause of Pityriasis Rosea

    • the trunk, such as the chest and back

    • athe extremities, such as the legs and arms

  • Skin lesions appear as red and oval

  • There is some itching that accompanies the lesions

  • Caused by a human herpes virus, number 7

  • Treatment of Pityriasis Rosea

    • no treatment needed

    • spontaneously resolves within 6-12 weeks

    • may uses corticosteroids if concerned about any skin damage
